To commemorate America's rich naval and maritime heritage through the preservation and exhibition of historic naval vessels with an emphasis on the era of World War II through the present.
About the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum
The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum (AIMM) opened its doors on May 15th, 2005. Centered around the submarine USS Razorback (SS-394), a veteran of World War II, the Vietnam War and the Cold War and soon to feature the historic tugboat USS Hoga (YT-146), AIMM is more than just a military museum.

AIMM also has a research library, a theater, and a large museum area.
AIMM will also feature the "Beacon of Peace and Hope" on our grounds and we will regularly feature displays and programs on the impact of maritime trade, the inland waterways system, the Arkansas River, and even Arkansas aqua culture.
